In full transparency, I have known that I was going to record this solo episode about how I canceled my summit for a few months now. I have been putting it off because it’s been such a painful experience. But I’m doing a small series, and this will be the first part.

In this episode, I share a raw and real behind-the-scenes look at the challenges I’ve faced this year in my business and personal life. I hope the takeaway from this episode is a lesson about trusting yourself and valuing your boundaries.

In this episode, I canceled my summit, I cover:

  • How to understand that not everyone notices every single detail of what you’re doing
  • Why paying attention to your body when it’s telling you to slow down is crucial
  • Preparing for every possible outcome with an event, including having an air-tight contract
  • Protecting your business, no matter how friendly the connection with someone else might feel
  • How to keep the momentum going in your business
  • The logistical steps I took to cancel my event
  • How you can’t pour from an empty cup
  • That you’re not alone in all the things you’re going through

Next week’s episode will be the next part of this series, with me talking about hitting rock bottom.
